(ii). 36 research grants to the tune of SEK 2,880,000 shall be awarded to at least 36 MSc and PhD research scientists;

(iii). Skills of over 150 scientists are strengthened through thematic training-cum-consensus building fora;

(iv). AFORNET Newsletter shall be published on a quarterly basis;

(v). AFORNET Web page shall be developed and updated on a regular basis;

vi). Scientific equipments, consumable material , and PCs (as well as software) shall be supplied to scientists;

(vii). Three operational and functional eco-regional nodes shall be strengthened;

(vii). AFORNET Board shall be consolidated to act as an authoritative African forestry research council;
